Spring Hill Police Launch DUI Education and Enforcement Initiative

Staff Report / SHlocal.org

The Spring Hill Police Department recently announced its initiatives for DUI enforcement and education, aided by a grant from the Tennessee Highway Safety Office. The department has acquired two trailers intended for use at sobriety checkpoints and educational outreach regarding the hazards of driving under the influence.

In addition to the trailers, the Spring Hill Police Department has also purchased DUI pedal carts and "fatal vision" goggles. These tools are designed to demonstrate the effects of alcohol impairment on coordination.

The department expressed gratitude to several vendors for their support in this project, including Trilec Products, Triune Trailer Sales, and Jake's Lettering & Graphics.
