Community Gun Buyback Event on September 14

The Columbus Division of Police is hosting a community gun buyback event on Saturday, September 14th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event will take place at Franklin University, specifically in Phillips Hall Parking Lot D, located at 303 S. Grant Ave., Columbus, OH 43215, at the corner of Mound and S. Grant Street.

Participants can exchange assault rifles, handguns, and shotguns for cash gift cards. The event is anonymous, and no questions will be asked during the exchange. It operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and walk-ups are discouraged.

This marks the 3rd Annual Gun Buyback event, and it has received strong community support.
