Staff Report / sanfranlocal.org

San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) announced the arrest of two suspects involved in narcotics trafficking in the Tenderloin district and the seizure of over 850 grams of narcotics. The arrests were made following a two-month investigation by the SFPD Narcotics Unit.

On September 17, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m., SFPD officers arrested 31-year-old Dennison Aguilera-Moncada of Oakland on Golden Gate Avenue. A search of his person and vehicle revealed suspected narcotics and evidence related to narcotics trafficking.

The investigation led officers to a residence on the 2300 block of International Boulevard in Oakland, where they executed a search warrant. The second suspect, 46-year-old Marlo Cruz-Lopez, was located at the residence and taken into custody.

During the search of the residence, officers seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine, amounting to more than 850 grams, along with over $5,000 in cash and ammunition related to the trafficking operations.

Aguilera-Moncada was booked on several charges, including possession for sale of a controlled substance, transportation or sale of methamphetamine, and conspiracy. Cruz-Lopez was booked on related charges as well.

Both suspects were transported to San Francisco County Jail #1. SFPD stated that the investigation is ongoing and urged anyone with information to contact them at 1-415-575-4444 or via text at TIP411, starting the message with SFPD.
