The City of Sarasota's Parks and Recreation Department launched a new season of "Painting with the Police" on Monday at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex. This initiative, created in collaboration with the Sarasota Police Department's Community Relations Unit and RLTCC staff, aims to foster connections between citizens and law enforcement through art.

Residents and officers came together to create art, enhancing community bonds and encouraging dialogue. The next session of "Painting with the Police" will take place on Wednesday, October 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interested participants can register or get more information by calling (941) 263-6732.
