The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office recently featured Jasmine Wilcox in their "Voices of Survivors" series. Wilcox lost her son, Jeremiah, to gun violence in 2022. In an interview, she recounted the painful experience of learning about his death and how she and her family strive to honor Jeremiah's memory. She described him as a "loving, silly kid" who enjoyed cheesesteaks and loved to be goofy. Wilcox expressed her deep sense of loss, stating, “my baby, I miss him.” The series aims to provide support to survivors as they navigate their grief and continue to heal.
