**Fire at Akron Manufacturing Facility Quickly Contained by Fire Crews**

Akron, Ohio - Akron Fire Department crews responded to a fire reported in the 700 block of E. North Street at a manufacturing facility. Upon arrival, responders found the fire was located in a large oil containment vessel at the rear of the facility.

Engine 2 initiated an interior attack on the blaze. Crews then utilized a foam evolution technique to effectively extinguish the fire. Akron Police Department assisted in shutting down traffic in the area, while Battalion vehicles ensured the safety of the operation.

Teams from Engines 2, 14, and 7, Ladder 7, and Battalion Chiefs 4 and 9 played key roles in the response effort. No injuries were reported during the incident, and the building was returned to management shortly after the fire was extinguished.

The Akron Fire Department commended the collaborative efforts of all units involved.
