**Hobart Lacrosse Kicks Off Season with a Victory Over Canisius**
Geneva, NY – The Hobart College lacrosse team opened their season with a commanding win against Canisius. The Statesmen secured a 21-12 victory in the matchup, showcasing their strength on the field.
The game marked the first step in the season for the Hobart lacrosse team, who played under the moniker "Defending the Dome." The strong offensive performance was key to their success in the opener.
The achievement was celebrated widely, accompanied by the hashtag #GoStatesmen, as the team aims to build on this momentum in the Atlantic 10 Men's Lacrosse (A10MLAX) competition.
