Geneva residents are invited to a community meeting on Tuesday, May 20th from 6:45 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bozzuto Center for Entrepreneurship, 22 Castle Street. Mingling and refreshments will begin at 6:45 p.m., followed by a welcome and a brief presentation at 7:00 p.m. After the presentation, participants will break into small groups to brainstorm and plan ideas for family-friendly neighborhood events.

Previous neighborhood events have included activities such as a Pumpkin Roll, Musical Porches, garden walks, public pocket park clean-ups, potluck picnics, trunk treasures sale and swap, food truck rodeos, bike rodeos, basketball or pickleball events, plant swaps, parades, holiday decorating contests, historic re-enactments, play readings or concerts in the park as well as spring and fall park clean-ups and plantings.

The meeting is open to all residents, and attendees are encouraged to bring creative ideas and invite new neighbors to join the discussion.

The City of Geneva’s Local Development Corporation (LDC) is hosting this gathering to support community care, creation, and celebration.
