Youth Screen Printing Camp Launches July 7-11

Screen Printing Art Camp with Harold Copp will be held from July 7 to 11, with sessions running from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The camp is designed for participants ages 10 to 18 and is limited to 20 participants. No drawing skills are necessary, as Harold Copp will demonstrate alternate methods to transfer ideas onto screens.

Participants will create hand-drawn designs intended for both paper fine art and t-shirt prints. The designs will first be transferred onto screens. Afterwards, they will be printed multiple times on paper before moving on to printing on shirts. Each participant will work with their own designs, receive two provided shirts for printing, and they are welcome to bring two additional personal items for printing.

All instructors who work with youth aged 18 and under at Dove Block locations are required to pass a background check, ensuring a safe environment. The art camp is supported in part by The Wyckoff Family Foundation, The Linden Shop, and The Geneva Rotary Club. Registration is required for those interested in participating.
