Geneva Library Showcases Dance Choreography Process
The Geneva Public Library in Geneva, NY, hosted a program featuring Doug Varone and Dancers last week in partnership with Hobart and William Smith Colleges. The dancers explained how they notate and create choreography and demonstrated the process behind each movement. During the program, they discussed different ways in which action and emotion can be expressed through dance, providing the audience with insight into the creative decisions behind the performance.
