Geneva hosts free HWS Faculty Dance Concert
Geneva Public Library in Geneva, New York, says it loved welcoming Hobart and William Smith Colleges Dance & Movement professor Kelly Johnson and students to the library to share African dance and drumming with young patrons. "Their energy, talent, and generosity made for such a joyful experience, and we’re grateful for the connection," the library said.
Now it's our turn to show up for them. The HWS Faculty Dance Concert takes place Friday, April 24, and Saturday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the Gearan Center for the Performing Arts. Featuring choreography by Michelle Iklé, Kelly Johnson, and Cynthia Williams, along with live drumming and a talented group of student performers, the concert is a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community.

Program details: Choreography by Donna Davenport, Michelle Iklé, Kelly Johnson and Cynthia Williams. A percussion ensemble is led by Ryan Russell. Talk-back sessions with the choreographers immediately following each concert.
The events run Friday, April 24, and Saturday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m., at Deming Dance Theatre, Gearan Center for the Performing Arts.
