Geneva Public Library Hosts Third Annual Seed Exchange
GENEVA, N.Y. — The Geneva Public Library will host its Third Annual Seed Exchange on Tuesday, May 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 244 Main St. in Geneva. The event is free and open to the public.
Attendees can swap seeds, discover what to grow, and connect with fellow gardeners in the community. A special discussion with Petra Mann of Fruition Seeds will address "Sharing Beyond Swapping."
The event is billed as "SEEDS & TRANSPLANTS" to grow fruitful futures for all. Organizers say attendees should bring and receive an abundance of seeds and transplants to build resilience in the community as they cultivate a gift culture.
The program notes that those who love Robin Wall Kimmerer’s words and are curious about gift economy are invited to join for the full experience.
Free and all are welcome.
