Geneva school board race: 3 candidates for 1 seat
GENEVA, N.Y. — Three candidates are running for one open seat on the Geneva City School District school board in this year’s budget vote and election.
The candidates are: Incumbent Matthew Herbert; Steve Budgar; Melissa Green.

The school budget vote and election will take place at the North Street School Mini Gym in Geneva on May 19 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The proposed 2026–27 budget remains within the tax levy cap and reflects a budget-to-budget increase of just over 1%.
