Playa Vista Office Building Fire Extinguished Rapidly

On August 20, 2024, the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a structure fire on the 11800 block of W Teale St in Playa Vista. The fire was reported at 3:35 PM.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a two-story office building with flames on the first floor. They quickly went into offensive mode.
A total of 50 LAFD firefighters, along with assistance from Culver City and Los Angeles County firefighters, were able to put out the fire in just 22 minutes. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported.
