Raptor Fest to Showcase Smallest North American Raptor

The American kestrel, known as the smallest raptor in North America, can fly at speeds of up to 60 mph. Residents of Brooklyn are invited to learn more about this bird of prey and other raptors such as owls and eagles at the upcoming Raptor Fest. The event is scheduled for Sunday, September 15.
