Linden Latin Festival Celebrates Culture on September 15

The City of Linden will host a Latin Festival on Sunday, September 15th, featuring a variety of events and activities celebrating Latin American culture. The festival will take place at the main stage with the following schedule:
- **12:00 PM**: DJ Faz
- **1:00 PM**: Opening Ceremony
- **1:30 PM**: Karaoke Contest
- **2:00 PM**: DJ/Host Mike Ruga
- **2:00 PM - 5:00 PM**: Petting Zoo
- **2:30 PM**: Rice Pudding Eating Contest
- **2:45 PM**: Karaoke Contest
- **3:00 PM**: First Wrestling Match
- **3:30 PM**: Planet Dance Dancers
- **4:00 PM**: DJ Drewski
- **4:30 PM**: Second Wrestling Match
- **5:00 PM**: Last Wrestling Match
- **5:30 PM**: Grupo K Ndela Performance
- **6:30 PM**: Mariachi Band
- **7:30 PM**: Closing Remarks by Mayor Derek Armstead
In addition to entertainment, the festival will include Lucha Libre wrestling shows, a car show by RIX Magazine, food vendors, food trucks, and adult beverages. Activities such as dancing and more karaoke contests are also planned. The event is part of the celebration for Hispanic Heritage Month 2024.
Residents are encouraged to join the festivities and enjoy the cultural offerings.
