Pittsburgh EMS Welcomes New Class of Recruits

Five certified Paramedics and three Emergency Medical Technicians have successfully completed recruit school after a month of training. This achievement comes from Recruit Class 24-02 of the Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS.
The training program focused on advancing their existing certifications and included topics such as medical critical care, responses to highly infectious diseases and hazardous materials, technical and water rescue, and active threat response. Additionally, recruits received an overview of the policies and procedures of the bureau.
Following this training, the recruits will move into field training modules and are expected to be released to the field in October. Congratulations to Recruit Class 24-02 on their accomplishment.
