Sarasota Police Department Swears in Seven New Officers

On Thursday, September 19, 2024, the Sarasota Police Department held a swearing-in ceremony for seven new Police Officers. The event took place in the 2nd Floor Community Room of the department.
The new officers, who join the agency as 2nd Class Probation, are:
- Macy Clontz
- Matthew Friedrich
- Kaitlyn Marston
- Tim Malak
- Michal Banasiak
- Maria Quinones
- Brian Slaughter Jr.
These officers will begin their Field Training Program with Field Training officers over the next several months.
