Staff Report / DClocal.org

The DC Volunteer Lawyers Project (DCVLP) has announced three upcoming training sessions for volunteer attorneys in the Washington D.C. metro area. These sessions aim to equip both new and veteran volunteers with essential skills to support victims and children.

The first training is a full-day workshop on Child Advocacy, scheduled for Thursday, October 24, at Vinson & Elkins LLP.

The second workshop, focusing on Domestic Violence, will take place on Thursday, November 21, at Latham & Watkins LLP.

The final training for this series will cover the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and is set for Thursday, December 12, at Troutman Pepper.

Those interested in participating can register by visiting the DCVLP website at https://dcvlp.org/volunteer/calendar/. DCVLP has been serving the community since 2008.
