Mecklenburg EMS Deploys Teams to Support Western NC

Mecklenburg EMS in Charlotte, North Carolina, has announced its current deployment supporting Western North Carolina. The team includes an Operations Supervisor who is serving as the Communications Team Lead at the State Emergency Operations Center in Raleigh. Additionally, a Tactical Paramedic is working with the CMPD SWAT team in Western North Carolina.

Four Emergency Medical Dispatchers, along with Emergency Fire Dispatchers and personnel in Radio Operations, have been deployed to Haywood County 911 to assist with the Tactical Emergency Response Team (TERT) for 911 call centers. The initiative aims to enhance emergency response capabilities in the region.

The deployment features a Special Operations Medic alongside the CMPD Special Operations Division.
