Prepare Emergency Water Supply for Your Household

Staff Report / FLXlocal.org

Residents of Cayuga County are reminded to ensure they have enough clean drinking water in case of an emergency. The Cayuga County Health Department recommends storing one gallon of water per person or pet, per day for at least three days.

Additional consideration should be made for those with special healthcare needs, such as pregnant women or individuals with disabilities, who may require more water.

For further information on emergency preparedness, residents can visit www.cayugacounty.us/health.
