The Geneva Public Library will host a free concert on Friday, September 19 at 7:30 pm in the Reading Room. The recital will be part of the Musical Moments series and feature violinist Eliot Heaton, recently appointed to The Philadelphia Orchestra and former concertmaster of the Detroit Opera. Pianist Meg Cognetta Heaton, a longtime performer and teacher at Hobart & William Smith Colleges, will accompany him.

The program includes Beethoven’s Kreutzer Sonata, Op. 47, as well as pieces by Kreisler, Dvořák, and Franck. The event is free and open to the public and is presented and funded by the Foundation for Geneva Public Library with support from dedicated volunteers. The recital will take place at 244 Main St. at the Geneva Public Library.
