Southeast Raleigh Magnet to host Ruby Bridges cookie walk fundraiser
Wake County Public Schools in Apex, North Carolina, reports that Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School will host the Ruby Bridges Cookie Walk fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 19, starting at 5 p.m.
Attendees will be able to purchase empty boxes to take on a walk between tables and fill with cookies freshly baked by the Culinary Arts department. Funds from the event will be used for the creation of event materials to be used at Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day.
At 6 p.m., the Black History Month Showcase will feature students from across the district in an engaging display of their artistic talents.
