Police capture trio after stolen car crash

Three suspects are currently in police custody after a motor vehicle crash involving a stolen vehicle in Linden, New Jersey. The incident began with a police pursuit that was called off on Route 1 near S. Wood Ave. The stolen vehicle came to a stop after hitting a curb at the intersection of S. Stiles St & 21st St, where the suspects fled on foot. Multiple law enforcement agencies, including officers from Linden, Elizabeth, Union, Rahway, the Union County Sheriff’s Office, and the New Jersey State Police, pursued and apprehended all three suspects. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
