Kean University Golf Teams Set to Launch Season

Galloping Hill Golf Course in Union County has been designated as the official home for the Kean University Golf Teams, including the newly reinstated men's team and the university's first-ever women's team.
The announcement was made by the Union County Board of County Commissioners, highlighting the significance of this partnership. Union County Chairwoman Kimberly Palmieri-Mouded expressed enthusiasm about hosting the teams, emphasizing the commitment to enhancing local athletic programs and supporting student-athletes.
The inaugural match for the Kean Golf Teams is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17th, at 12 PM. This event marks an important milestone for both Kean University Athletics and Union County.
Dr. Lamont Repollet, President of Kean University, expressed gratitude for the collaboration with Union County, noting that the reinstatement of the golf program has been a long-term goal. He also highlighted the introduction of the women's team as a sign of growth and inclusivity within the athletics program.
The teams will practice and compete at Galloping Hill Golf Course, which is expected to provide valuable resources for the student-athletes.
