Buffalo Mayor Receives President's Award for Workforce Support

Buffalo Mayor announced that she received the President's Award from Stephen Tucker and the Northland Workforce Training Center during an event last night. The award acknowledges her support for the Northland Workforce Training Center (NWTC) over the years. Mayor highlighted her early recognition of the NWTC's vision and her efforts in establishing it in East Buffalo.
Under President Stephen Tucker's leadership, the NWTC has played a significant role in the development of residents in Buffalo and Western New York. The center has successfully placed over 500 graduates in high-paying jobs.
