Akron Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month and Local Cuisine

As part of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15, the City of Akron, Ohio, is celebrating local Hispanic businesses. One highlighted establishment is La Reina Boricua, located at 1351 East Avenue. This restaurant specializes in Puerto Rican cuisine and offers a variety of traditional dishes, including empanadas and arroz con gandules, as well as various desserts. The Mayor's Office encourages the community to comment and recognize more Hispanic businesses in the area.
