Boise Plans Enhancements for 8th Street Improvements

Staff Report / BoiseLocal.org

The City of Boise has announced plans to enhance 8th Street between Main and Bannock to improve safety and accessibility. These upgrades will build on previous community efforts to make the area more pedestrian-friendly, including the expansion of restaurant patio seating and converting the space to be car-free.

The city is soliciting public input on the next phase of these improvements, which aim to create a vibrant public space and support local businesses. Community members can contribute their suggestions and feedback through the City of Boise's official website.
