A block party celebrating worker-owned cooperatives will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Great Highway and Judah Street in the Outer Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco, CA. The event marks the 50th anniversary of Other Avenues, as well as the 30th anniversary of the Network of Bay Area Worker Co-ops (NoBAWC).

The celebration is organized by Other Avenues, Friends of Great Highway Park, and NoBAWC. Attendees can expect local musicians, interactive games, family-friendly activities, free samples, vendor and organizational tabling, and educational opportunities focused on worker-owned cooperatives and sustainable food systems.
