Hunters Point Shipyard Celebrates 40th Anniversary Event

The Hunters Point Shipyard Artists in San Francisco are hosting their 40th Anniversary Open Studios event from October 18 to 20. The event will take place at 451 Galvez Avenue. A preview party is scheduled for Friday, October 18, and will be followed by open studios on Saturday, October 19, and Sunday, October 20, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Visitors can explore over 130 artists' studios, enjoy live music, food, activities for children, and a silent art auction. On the evening of October 19, there will also be a crane illumination, beginning with an opening ceremony at 6 p.m. Light and sound performances will follow at 7:15, 8, and 9 p.m.
