Mounted Officer Apprehends Suspect After Gas Station Theft

Sgt. Ben Rhoden of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, along with his mounted partner Ace, successfully apprehended a suspect who had just stolen items from a gas station in the Riverside area. While on patrol, Sgt. Rhoden spotted the suspect and took immediate action. An off-duty Corrections Officer, who witnessed the incident, also provided assistance during the apprehension. This event highlights the collaboration between law enforcement personnel in ensuring public safety.
