Apex High Celebrates Arts Month with Performances
Apex High School in Apex, North Carolina, celebrated Arts in Our Schools Month with a series of performances and events, according to Wake County Public Schools. The month kicked off with the school's Spring Musical, which marked the beginning of the month-long celebration of arts. Theatre teacher Laura Levine noted that in addition to the musical, students are rehearsing for an honors theatre play.
Students are also writing advocacy letters to fellow students, administrators, and representatives. The letters aim to thank those who have supported arts in the schools and to encourage further engagement and support. Photos from recent performances have been shared as part of the celebration.
