Chicago Unveils I AM HER: Celebrating Black Women

Chicago officials have launched the I AM HER exhibit at The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center. The exhibit, inspired by Anjanette Young's story, honors Black women's strength while highlighting issues of racial justice. The event is supported by the Chicago Mayor's Office at the museum, demonstrating the city's commitment to art and healing. The exhibit features a shirt that lists names and dates, including Nina Simone, Angela Davis, Assata Shakur, Erica Garner, and Aleta L. Jones, as a reminder to "Say Her Name."
