Diverse Art Unveiled at Wake County Libraries
Wake County Public Libraries is partnering with Drinking Gourd Gallery to present the "Libraries on Canvas" series. The project will display diverse artworks by community artists at local library branches.
The exhibition schedule includes several events planned throughout 2025. In April, Southeast Regional will host Barbara Outterson's exhibition titled "Legacy." A second event at Southeast Regional, "Unspoken," will explore mental health in June. Natasha Dennis's pointillism work, "Infinite Possibilities," will be featured at Oberlin Regional in July. This location will also present "Playing to Win," a sports exhibition, in August. In December, East Regional will showcase "Perspectives & Perceptions."
