Seymour Library Thanks Families for Summer Adventure Programs
Staff Report / FLXlocal.org
Seymour Library in Auburn is thanking families who participated in their summer program, themed "Adventure," which included various activities aimed at engaging the community. Events ranged from storytimes held on the library's front lawn to three StoryWalks® located at Hoopes Park, Casey Park, and Owasco Playground.
During the summer, participants enjoyed a range of activities such as a STEAM Book Club, a Book to Movie Club, a Teddy Bear Picnic, and a magic show featuring Jeff the Magic Man. Additionally, a special storytime was organized with the Auburn Fire Department.
Families are encouraged to provide feedback about their experiences by completing a brief survey. The deadline for submissions is Monday, September 23. Those who fill out the survey will be entered into a drawing for Pokemon prizes.
Major funding for the Discover Summer program was provided by the Bernard Carl and Shirley Rosen Library Fund of the Community Foundation of Tompkins County, the Cayuga County Youth Services Bureau, and the Friends of Seymour Library.
