**National Night Out 2024 Set for October 1st in Myrtle Beach**

The City of Myrtle Beach will host its National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024. The free event will take place at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Exhibit Hall C, located at 2101 N Oak Street. It is scheduled to run from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

This annual event will feature neighborhood watch groups and include a dessert competition, with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Myrtle Beach police officers, including those from the SWAT team, K-9 unit, and bike patrol.

In addition to police interactions, the event will showcase public works, emergency response teams, and fire vehicles. There will also be vendors, face painting, arts and crafts, community activities, and live music.
