Coastal Carolina University Launches Hurricane Helene Relief Drive

Coastal Carolina University is organizing relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Helene. The university is hosting a donation drive to collect non-perishable items and essential supplies for South Carolina residents without power or water.

Individuals can drop off items at the Lib Jackson Student Union, Room A-103. The deadline for donations is Friday, October 4, at 12:30 p.m. Needed items include canned goods, bottled water, diapers, batteries, clothes, and baby food.

Additionally, the athletics department at Coastal Carolina University is coordinating a supply drive for Appalachian State University. For more information or to assist, interested individuals can contact Cari Rosiek at cari@coastal.edu.

These initiatives aim to support neighbors in need during this challenging time.
