**Myrtle Beach Team Volunteers for Hurricane Cleanup Efforts**

**Myrtle Beach Public Works Team Heads to Anderson, S.C. for Hurricane Cleanup**
Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Six members of the Myrtle Beach Public Works Department are traveling to Anderson, S.C. to assist with hurricane cleanup efforts. The region is still facing challenges, with 34,000 customers reported to be without power as recovery progresses.
The team of volunteers will be working in Anderson for two weeks, focusing on clearing debris from the roads. The specialized vehicles and equipment they are bringing are expected to enhance the cleanup efforts significantly.
The following employees are part of this volunteering effort:

- Jeremy Milligan
- Russell Montgomery
- Brice Shelley
- Kyle Chergosky
As the Myrtle Beach Public Works team sets out, members of the Myrtle Beach Fire Department, who had been deployed last week, are returning home today.
Larry Edwards, one of the team members, discusses the importance of supporting neighbors in need in a video shared by the city. The City Government expressed gratitude to the volunteers for their commitment to serving the community.
Myrtle Beach residents are encouraged to show appreciation for these individuals as they represent the city during this critical time.
