Akron Fire at 1081 Rosemary Blvd Fully Extinguished

The fire at 1081 Rosemary Blvd. in Akron, Ohio has been completely put out and the smoke has mostly cleared. The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been monitoring the air quality in the area since the fire and all tests have shown normal levels. The Akron firefighter who was taken to the hospital on Thursday, Sept. 5 has been released from the hospital and is expected to recover fully. The Akron Fire Department will now start investigating the fire, while the EPA will conduct further analysis on the site. Both air and water quality tests have shown safe ranges and will continue to be monitored. More updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
