YMCA Akron's Welcome Week to feature Community Cookbook.

Akron Area YMCA in Akron, Ohio will be celebrating Welcome Week starting on September 16th. To honor the diverse cultures within the YMCA community, members are encouraged to submit a recipe that represents their heritage. On September 22nd, all the submitted recipes will be compiled into an online Community Cookbook. Those interested in participating can bring a printed or written recipe to the front desk or email it to loganb@akronymca.org. The recipe should include the dish's origin, full list of ingredients, accurate measurements, step-by-step instructions, and the member's name. Recipes can be for any meal - breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert. Welcome Week aims to showcase the rich culinary traditions of the YMCA members.
