Barbara Kingsolver's debut novel, "The Bean Trees," is currently available for readers through the Libby app, where no waiting period is required. The Akron-Summit County Public Library in Akron, Ohio, encourages community engagement by inviting residents to participate in a Community Read in celebration of the library's 150th Anniversary.
