Arrest Made in Cayuga County Sexual Abuse Case

On September 16, 2024, Charles R. Marble-McCloe, a 29-year-old from Martville, New York, was arrested by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office in Sterling. The charges against him include sex abuse in the first degree, menacing in the first degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.
The arrest stemmed from an incident where Marble-McCloe allegedly used a Sawzall blade to threaten a female while subjecting her to unwanted sexual contact. Following his arrest, he was arraigned at the CAP Court and subsequently remanded to the Cayuga County Jail. His bail was set at $50,000 in cash or $100,000 bond.
