Temporary Street Closures for Mass Riot 5K Run

AUBURN, NY – On Saturday, September 21, 2024, streets in downtown Auburn will experience temporary closures for the Mass Riot 5K Run organized by Prison City Pub & Brewery.
State Street, between Genesee Street and Dill Street, will be closed from 6 AM to 4 PM. Additional closures will occur from approximately 9:30 AM to 11 AM on the following streets: Dill Street, William Street, South Street, North Street, Richardson Avenue, Mary Street, Metcalf Drive, and Genesee Street between North/South Streets and William/Dill Streets. The segment of Loop Road between Genesee Street and North Street will also be temporarily closed.
Runners will line up at 10 AM on Loop Road next to the Owasco River. The race will begin with participants heading west on Dill Street, south on William Street, south down South Street, east on Metcalf Drive, north on Mary Street, west on Richardson Avenue, then north on South Street and finishing on Dill Street.
Motorists are advised to use caution when driving on streets that will be affected by the race.
