Free Car Seat Checks Available on September 21st

In Cayuga County, the Health Department is emphasizing the importance of proper car seat usage during Child Passenger Safety Week. The department states that correctly using a car seat can save a child's life.
On Saturday, September 21st, free car seat checks will be conducted by certified child passenger safety technicians across New York State. Parents and guardians are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure their car seats are installed and used correctly.
A list of locations where these checks will be held is available for those interested in participating.
