Student Voter Registration Event at HWS Today

Today marks National Voter Registration Day at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. HWS Votes, a student-led nonpartisan voter engagement initiative, is hosting a tabling event in the Scandling Campus Center throughout the day. The purpose of the event is to assist students with registering to vote and requesting absentee ballots in preparation for the upcoming Presidential, state, and local elections.

Students are encouraged to check their registration status. More information can be found by following @hwsvotes.

Additionally, details about election preparedness on campus are available through a link in the bio. This includes HWS Votes' initiatives aimed at increasing voter turnout and information about the "Voting and Elections" course offered in the Politics Department, which is co-taught by Associate Professor DeWayne Lucas and President Mark D. Gearan.
