The Akron Fire Department in Akron, Ohio, welcomed students from the Miller South Performing Arts School today for an educational experience. District Chief Sierjie Lash provided the students with an insight into the daily activities of a firefighter at Station 4. The visit included a look at the administrative aspects of the Fire Department, and the students actively participated in the experience. The event highlighted potential future careers in firefighting and emergency medical services for the young attendees.
